kicking it old skool

Messy. Really really messy. Pathetic is another phrase that comes to mind.

I am of course referring to the dismal display of professional rugby I had to endure yesterday. What's worst: I actually bought tickets to go see this tripe! And just as we settled down it started raining like it aint no thing.

Forget the fact that we lost, that's not the question here. BOTH TEAMS played shocking rugby. Fumbles, running into each other, kicking away possession, the list goes on and on. It really was torture. I haven't seen such a sad and worthless game in ages. I'd like to attribute it to the rain, but I just don't know. I reckon the boys need to do some soul searching after yesterday.

Weekend had been uber-chilled otherwise. Did my rollouts with laser like precision and it all went rather smoof. Caught up with some reading (IceWind Dale trilogy, by R.A Salvatore). I dig it cus I just finished Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark and both game and book play off in the same "universe", that being the Forgotten Realms. Drizzt Do'Urden is the hardest Dark Elf in town. Period.

Ok, I swear I'm gonna start spending more time with my SQL for Dummies (ok, not quite the dummies variety) come Monday. I've got everything going for it right now, because the majority of my mates are all studying / writing exams right now so no distractions from that dept. I wanna try and squeeze in a Admin Exam by the end of the month.

Got a cool SMS form DubaiBob the other night. Said he was in a bar drinking beer, beer, and then some more beer and thinking about all his homies back home. So from the SMS I gathered that Phase one of World Domination is now complete. By extending G-Unit into the middle-East, we can now bring bigger numbers into the fold. Soon, the world will be ours!! MWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

So that’s it. Looking forward to a helluva week. I’m hoping the weather will start playing along. It’s supposed to be summer and we’re having some serious winter up in this motherfucker! Global warming is a bitch.
