kicking it old skool

damnit. Still haven't been able to secure a roomy. What's disconcerting is that all these folks say "yeah, ok, cool, I'll come check it out" and then they simply don't pitch or phone or nothing! Wierd man, it's like they need a place to stay, but it's too much of a mission to get off their fat asses and do something about it.

The lonelyness hasn't creeped in, yet. I've kinda been keeping myself busy, been a bookworm of note lately. Also jamming some Never Winter Nights + expansion packs (more than 120 hours of gaming! or at least, that's what it says on the box). Also got my grubby mitts on a copy of Call of Duty's expansion pack. NIIIIice!! This game rocks so god damn hard it's sick!!

I'm thinking of getting a gold fish today. Had a rad goldfish a year or so back (Fishy). So full of life and very attentive, for a gold fish. Trouble was he was a little too frisky. Always killed off the other fish in the tank. One day, I filled the tank with too much water and the next morning he was laying in the middle of the room , all dried out and messed up.

I threw him back into the water and BAM! the little guy actually started breathing again!! True as fuck, I swear! He wasn't the same tho, I reckon he got brain damaged or some shit. He eventually died 2 days later. I was so bummed I vowed not to get another fish, in honour of Fishy.

That was a long time ago. I think Fishy would want me to find another. The wounds have healed, I can now move on.

Got a couple of mails from Dubai-Bob the other day. Says it's hot, and sandy.

Um, yeah, you're in the Fucking DESERT!! That's what they do over there! Sand! Lots of it! :) He's gonna go check out some Paul Oakenfeld this weekend, so I'll be expecting some dirty pictures of sweaty woman soon.

w00t!! See Hellboy is starting this weekend! Been dying to watch this. Not expecting much though. I try to minimize / exterminate all shreds of expectation from my inner core before I settle down to watch any movie nowadays.
