kicking it old skool

So, 2008. Funny thing, New years eve. It's all about timing, isn't it? Don't want to kick off too early, because come 00:00 you probably won't remember a damn thing. Got to get the mood right, get everybody flowing in the right direction. It's just another night out, technically. But obviously, it's supposed to be this big thing. Maybe I'm getting fucking old!

We did it in style though, regardless (as we do). Went to a 70's themed party, even though we where probably the only ones making an effort. But that's how these things go, people are funny sometimes.

Got a few things on the to do list this year, but for '08 I'm going to aim to do less in one month and more over the year, if you get what I mean. Looking forward to a trip back home for a few weeks come Feb. Looking forward to getting back into shape, reading (even) more, making some career decisions. But most of all having a good time doing it, not sweating the small stuff. There's also a super-secret project I'm working on... but I'll share the good news once the time is right :)
