Everything, except Jello

Posted by G-force

rough couple of days.

Tried posting last night, but the internet in my pc was broken (to borrow from GogoPimp).

Lets recap: got slaughtered after the "company meeting" on thursday. Ended up helping to clear the fridge of all those pesky Amstells and Castle Lagers, whilst 0wnz0r1ng on de_Aztec. This of course did nothing for my craving desire to go out and get stupid. Prob is that the entire planet is either:

a) Studying
b) Pretending to do a)
c) ignoring me
d) washing their hair

... im beginning to sense a pattern here.

Sooooo anyhoo, got home and informed Frenchy that we shall be conquering Cape Town tonight, to which he responded (much to my glee) that they too, in fact, want to go all Viking on this motherfucker.

Enter the French Conquistadors... these guys (Frenchies mates, that is) are just as twisted and fucked up as I am. So needless to say, we got along pretty well :)

Played some pool, hit the beers (didn't have to ask me twice) and ended up doing the strip. Fez, Mink and the questionable Marvel Cafe on Loop was on the agenda. I woke up on the kitchen counter with my cellphone embedded in my ass. Good thing too, or else I would never have woken up from my usual 07:15 alarm I set on there.

Friday was hell on earth. It was made bearable only by an intravenious coffee feed and the promise of a nice cold Amstell come 5 pm. It's amazing how another beer after a rof nite out can take the edge off.

So now, having recovered most of my speech and motor skillz, I was ready and willing to celebrate summer good and proper again. Which brought me to the Live Whiskey Festival down at the Waterfront. So get this: you walk in and pay R100 (thats '100 Rand, South African') for a little booklet with 14 tickets, and a glass. You then proceed to one of the 20 odd whiskey / bourban makers and trade this inate pieces of paper for the fruits of their labour. 2 tickets equate a kinda-ok-ish-nice-personallity variety whiskey, while 6 will fetch you the Playmate-of-the-month kinda whiskey.

And boy oh boy, do I loves me some of that shit!

It's funny tho, cus my boss was there as well, so we cruised around together, smoked phat ass cigars and talked about shit and shit. He's actually not the Uber-Fuckhead I thought he was. Which is nice, I guess.

So at this stage, we (me and the 9 other voices) where back to square one: raid, plunder and pillage! Of course, the list of people who choose not to enjoy my company remained unchanged, so solo it was again. Ended up shooting pool (and various shooters) with these 2 fly hunnies over at Castros. (note to self: contact fly hunnies I played pool with on Friday)

Saterday was the beach on masse (after I FINALLY washed the carpets in the lounge. Too many "everyone come to my place after the club" events have taken their toll. I can't even remember it being white!)

As Frenchie pointed out, the girls on the beach had it going on and he was periodically rendered speechless by the Greater Mass Charm Spells they imbued their bikinis with. Also Got my ass burned six-love (oh, that's cus I'm an idiot, btw). Watched a killer Curri Cup Final at five, had a powernap and came out swinging for a swaray at Opium. (see previous comments on Thursday / Friday night. Yeah, more of the same)

Watched the last Grand Prix of '04 at my folks (momma sure knows how to cook!!). Got home, played some Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War (which is FUCKING AMAZING!!) till 02:00 this morning and hit the hay.

So all in all, a very very eventfull weekend indeed. Yesiree.

Now where did I put that chicks nr?!

DubaiBob phoned. Cited "technology issues" with regards to his in-ability to send and recieve 1's and 0's, and then reconstruct them into a tangible reading format Higher-level Carbon lifeforms could interped (also known as "email"). I told him he was a dumbass. But then again, he knows he's my boi! :)

PS: WH40K:DOW is, as I've said before, AWESOME! It plays alot like Warcraft 3 with the whole "Heroes" and 3d view ect, but feels ALOT like Starcraft. In fact, last night / this morning I kept thinking "blizzard could grab this code, re-skin and trough some Zerg into the fray and sell it off as StarCraft 2. Easy"

It brings a whole whack of new gameplay ideas the the party, and I gotta tell you, I'm all for them. I won't go into any more details (this rant is hella long already) but I'm sure our friends at google.com could assist you with some more info.

Till next time, keep it real
