kicking it old skool

Went to a spiritual Gathering this weekend. T’was on a camp site this time round, so we didn't need to totally slum it. Lost my mind in a big way though and the amnesia has saved me from a few (no doubt) embarrassing moments. At last conscious thought, I counted falling over 23 times…

Had the pleasure of driving there and back with McFlandrew of the Norman clan. Sat in the cab of his monster bakkie, with a 12 inch sub on my lap and the hardest fucking trance music I’ve ever heard in my life giving my ears a thorough rogering. Needless to say, the radio remained in the “Powered-off” state for much of the trip back. I think I also killed off one or two of the voices in my head. It's ok, they weren't popular anyway.

I used my last semblance of brain activity to compose the following Haiku:

Monday Mourning Pain
Brain all over floor again
Whimpering sounds remain

Saw some crazy shit this weekend. It’s always a testament as to why they have these in such remote outdoor locations, far far away from what we humans consider “Normal Society”. Also easier to bury the bodies.

And why do people bring kids and pets to these things?! It just seems inappropiate. What the heck are you thinking? Even if you and you're crew aren't doing drugs or nothing, you're still exposing them to all these other freaks.

I couldn't be asked as to how to raise fine upstanding citizens, but damn guys, somewhere I'm pretty sure you got it wrong.

So t-minus 3 days until BeefCake touches down on home turf. Can’t hardly wait. :)

I’ve been prepping Frenchy for the last couple of weeks, warning him of the pending doom and destruction that will follow. Also spoke a bit with DubaiBob, (whose mom says he’s a catch) and New Years promises to be one HELL of a party. Hermanus will be hosting the G-Unit extravaganza 2004/ 05 again this year (minus the blow up sheep, of course. She was such a slut anyways)

Almost fell over the balcony when he mentioned (with a moderate semblance of disgust) that he drank in the region on 1 million Beers over the course of 3 days, half of that at the 7's tournament going down over there. At about R50 a beer, it was in my professional opinion that he earns too much bloody money.

(Editors note, to editor: I haven’t had any coffee at said point when conversation was had, thus previous tally of beers in the “1 million” bracket may be incorrect.)

Gonna kick start the social activities again this week. Been kinda slacking with keeping in touch with all those loved and dear. Not that I've been a Bitch-Hermit or anything but apart from the over the top weekend now and again, I've been reading and keeping pretty much to myself. I guess with all that's been going down at ex-work, I suppose it makes sense.
