kicking it old skool

That's right Santa. No presents for me this year. Yeah, it is in fact that time of year. When the Great Retail Engine spits and shudders as the cogs start turning. Little lights and tinsel go up everywhere. Retail outlets with more money than sense start playing those freakin awfull Christmas CD’s. That time when one has to stomach the extended familia and their various recent ailments and life struggles. Bah!

More importantly tho, I’m stuck with not a clue as to what to buy in the form of gifts.

I have a vague idea here and there, but I’m way shallow (sometimes). I guess it’ll also help if I pay more attention to what people say and not switch to white-noise when folks stretch their pie holes.

Speaking of pie, I actually did get in the water this weekend. Went snorkeling off Rooiels, which was way cool. I've never been out that way so it was quite a treat. I spent my Sunday ferreting through Kelp forests 8 meters under water, trying to hold my breath for longer than the paltry 4 seconds. The geekness, it would seem, is well ingrained. No matter. I'm doing a lamas class next Tuesday. Good for breathing. And picking up single mommies.

Took my trusty 300D with me too and I would of course have uploaded some pics by now if Picasa wasn’t such a supreme bitch to operate. Later, perhaps.

So last night I dined like a king on Crayfish and wine. I somehow feel more masculine after catching, killing and prepping my own food. GRRRR baby.

It has been brought to my attention that the previous post regarding my mighty victories against the Oct and the ZOD have been incorrect. It would seem that said “skull fucking / decimation” was in fact against none other than “The Grim”, a vile and hideous dark force whose deal with Satan would not save him from my wrath. You’ll excuse me If I don’t bother to know the names of exactly “which” enemy I am destroying at said point. Only that the Skull Fucking was enjoyable and a cigarette was had afterwards.
