Detox Day 7: week one done

Posted by G-force

Breakfast was a quick one, as I was due to take some profile pics of a few trainers down in Gymbox. It was a very good session; I managed to get all 8 of them done and dusted within an hour. Also managed to get quite a good contact for future work, for actor profiles. I’ll be sure to follow this up, the dude was very friendly and accommodating, for a 120KG Muay-thai kick boxer!!

Note to self: never make this man angry.

The rest of the morning it was more fruit, a delicious salad and some home made tomato soup (not so great, I should have used ripe tomato’s…), while watching the F1 boys going wheel-to-wheel. Just looking at it on TV made me think about our trip to Turkey to go see the formula race there, and it.was.HOOOT!! I spared a thought for my brother looking at the people in the stands under the baking desert sun.

The rest of the day we kind of just lazed about, looking forward yet again to dinner. On my way back from the gym photo shoot I picked us up 30 cleaned King Prawns for this evenings feast. This we made with ginger, garlic, chilli and a dash of olive oil and lemon juice, served on brown rice with some Tamari (a soy sauce kind of substitute).

It was freakin awesome! I’d give it a 9 out of 10, just because there wasn’t more of it. I should have bought 60 prawns.

We kicked back, watched a flick or two: The taking of Pelham 123, which was SHIT and I convinced her to watch Ninja Assassin, which I’ve seen before, and which is FUCKING awesome!! She even enjoyed it.

Wasted the dregs of Sunday evening on some gamage and them bedtime.

Tomorrow we start with a no meat, no fish sector of the program. Not sure how I feel about that. Actually, I kind of do. But maybe its best left unsaid… :)
